Our Story
ConsultExperts was founded in 2005 by a group of experienced business consultants who shared a common frustration: they saw countless clients struggling to implement valuable advice because of preventable miscommunications and process failures.
What began as a small team operating from a modest office in the 9th arrondissement of Paris has grown into a respected consultancy with a unique focus on optimizing the client-consultant relationship. Our founders – Catherine Dubois, Martin Laurent, and Elise Bernard – combined their expertise from management consulting, academic research, and corporate leadership to develop our proprietary consultation methodology.
Over the past 15+ years, we've worked with more than 500 businesses across Europe, from startups to multinational corporations. With over 20 years of experience in management consulting, Catherine leads our strategic vision and client relationships. Prior to founding ConsultExperts, she held senior positions at McKinsey and Deloitte, where she specialized in operational transformation.
Catherine holds an MBA from INSEAD and regularly contributes to Harvard Business Review and The Economist.
Martin Laurent
Co-Founder & Research Director

Before ConsultExperts, Martin was a professor of Business Strategy at HEC Paris and a visiting scholar at Stanford Business School.
